Here's a Speaker Series event this week to help you think about your own retirement:
2) Virtual PD Speaker Series: How to Give Your Teacher Retirement a Boost: A great time to revisit your retirement contributions and analyze your investment fees is as you transition from one school year contract to the next. Dan Otter from 403b Wise, whose work has been featured in major publications across the country, such as the NY Times, will share with teachers the free resources they can use to get the most out of their retirement contribution dollars.

Here are two different assessment ideas:
3) Diagnostic, mid-term, and final exams! Even if you already have your own exam, you can use ours for practice tests or to grab questions to add to your own. To access our assessments, log in or create a teacher account (upper right-hand corner of the site) and then click units. You will see it there.
4) Alternate Assessments: Last year during our NGPF Fellows meeting we focused on the topic of alternative assessment ideas; something different than a traditional test. The main theme of this conversation was CHOICE: empowering students to choose an assessment type that is engaging to them. Here is the work that resulted.

5) NGPF Arcade Games: Arcade Games have been played more than 5 million times this school year and usage spikes at this time of the year. We have worksheets too that can be great discussion starters to ensure that learning takes place.

Here's an idea for the next school year OR something to share with parents about what you covered this school year:
6) Parent Newsletters: You know how important parents are when it comes to your students' financial education. Our customizable parent newsletters provide the perfect way for you to share with parents to wrap up your unit or year.
Most of all, every teacher needs a break. We have seen unprecedented efforts put forth by teachers since Covid began, and there are no words that can best describe our appreciation and respect we have for teachers who have clearly gone above and beyond for kids throughout it all.
