My Classroom Podcast: Dr. Patricia Page
NGPF’s My Classroom is a 10-15 minute weekly podcast series that will follow the lives of four amazing financial literacy leaders. Each one will share how they advocate for financial literacy and the teaching strategies they have used through COVID. Like the last series, each one is from a different area of the country and a different type of school, but this time you'll hear from a student-teacher, a middle school teacher, a former financial literacy teacher turned administrator, and a state teacher of the year.
This brief podcast is designed to inspire you, share ideas, and let you know that you are not alone during this unprecedented school year. Each week a new podcast will be posted for you to listen to on your drive to or from work, on a quick walk, or just when you need a little inspiration and encouragement.
In Episode #3, we hear from Dr. Patricia Page. Dr. Page is the former Rhode Island State Teacher of the Year and currently teaches at East Greenwich High School. She covers a variety of topics from what it was like to meet with former President Obama to the concentration of her Ph.D. And of course, she discusses strategies she is using to teach with excellence during Covid.
