Thanks to Aaron Greberman, educator at Bodine High School for International Affairs, who shared this at the recent NGPF FinCamp in Philadelphia:
Here is Facebook message I recently received from a former student. Comments like these are inspiring and serve as fuel to keep learning more so I can offer more to my students. Thanks again for making NGPF such a worthwhile and engaging program.
Here's the message from my former student:
Dear Mr. Greberman,
I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was a senior last year and you were my Personal Finance teacher 8th period. On August 31st I started my first day at Temple University, and while my peers were spending the extra money from their loans and refund checks, I remembered the lessons you taught and put some of the money away in a CD. I have all the books I need as well as some extra spending money and the knowledge to keep my head above water in terms of finances. I would like to thank you for all the energy and extra information that you put into the lessons each day. Keep up the good work!
Thanks again, Ezequiel Amparo
