Maureen Neuner, NGPF Fellow, Named Innovative Educator
NGPF Fellow Maureen Neuner was named the Practical Money Skills for Life “Innovative Educator” for the month of September. As a 9th grade teacher in Tuckerton, New Jersey, she has the challenge of inspiring students who are still a few years out from working, applying to college, owning a car, budgeting on their own, etc., to care about personal finance education. Based on what we know about Maureen from our Summer Institute 2016 and what’s written about her in the Innovative Educators article linked below, she’s got a lot of tools in her educator toolkit and achieves great things with her students.
