Paying for College Unit Fully Updated with FAFSA Changes
Following the launch of the new Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, we've completed the final round of updates to the Paying for College unit. Learn what's new.
What changed?
- The significant overhaul of the 2024-25 FAFSA is fully integrated into our curriculum, including FAFSA-specific lessons and activities like ANALYZE: A FAFSA Submission Summary.
- All Spanish resources have the most current terminology surrounding the FAFSA and other Paying for College topics.
- Recap of August Updates:
- Updated loan interest rates and Pell Grant limits
- Terminology changes, like the transition from Expected Family Contribution (EFC) to Student Aid Index (SAI) in all lessons, assessments, and activities
