NGPF just released 10 new holiday posters, themed around gift giving, philanthropy, and holiday budgeting. 

Make It A Classroom Activity

If you pull the statistics from these posters, you can craft them into a classroom activity before decking the halls.

• Quiz Game: Turn these stats into a prediction game using Kahoot! or Nearpod’s Time to Climb
• Price is Right Trivia: Group students and have them to compete to guess the value for each stat. The closest guess - without going over! - wins!
• Higher/ Lower: Students guess whether each stat is higher or lower than a benchmark
  • Call on one student to guess the statistic. Then, the rest of the class guesses if it's higher or lower
  • Provide a benchmark for the statistic. Students move to a specific area of the room based on whether they think the real stat is "higher" or "lower"

Kathryn (she/her) is excited to join the NGPF team after 9 years of experience in education as a mentor, tutor, and special education teacher. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in policy analysis and management and has a master's degree in education from Brooklyn College. Kathryn is looking forward to bringing her passion for accessibility and educational justice into curriculum design at NGPF. During her free time, Kathryn loves embarking on cooking projects, walking around her Seattle neighborhood with her dog, or lounging in a hammock with a book.
