Curriculum Announcement: Upcoming Taxes Revamp
NGPF’s Curriculum Team is updating our Taxes activities! We’re streamlining them with a focus on concision and student engagement. Plus, we’re doing annual updates to the most recent tax information available.
What’s Getting Revamped?
You'll see changes across Activities, Data Crunches, and Math Activities in the Taxes Unit over the next few weeks.
Annual Taxes Updates
We are updating our curriculum to have the most recent tax information available. That includes:
- Figures for Tax Filing Year 2024: The curriculum will be updated to include the 2024 standard deduction, minimum income requirements to file a return, tax brackets, and more
- Answer Keys: Answer keys will be updated for the 2024 tax filing year
- Tax Forms: Important tax forms such as the W-2, 1040, and more will be updated for the 2024 tax filing year
- Spanish Resources: All updates made to English resources will also be made in the Spanish versions of applicable resources
When Will Updates Be Done?
The NGPF Curriculum team is aiming to have all updates done in early February 2025. Be on the lookout for an email campaign announcing that all the updates are done!
Note: To find out when a resource was last updated, check the "Last Updated" date in the footer.
What’s Getting Retired?
