Happy Teacher Appreciation Week 2023!
The NGPF Team would like to take the opportunity to thank YOU for all you do to inspire and educate the next generation of students. For teacher appreciation week, we are raffling off 10 packages filled with NGPF Swag!
Your passion for teaching and your commitment to your students is truly inspiring and we owe you a debt of gratitude for your dedication to creating a brighter financial future for students.
For teacher appreciation week we are raffling off 10 NGPF swag packages that will include a Miir cup, a Moleskine notebook, and a variety of pens/notepads/stickers.
How to enter? Share the money lesson you are proudest of teaching your students to enter a chance to win the raffle.
We wanted to share a couple of examples of teachers’ heroics that were recently highlighted in the news:
- Video: Courtney Poquette (Winooski, VT) discussing the impact financial education classes have on students after graduating with CNBC’S Sharon Epperson.
- Article: Patrick Kubeny (Rhinelander, WI) taking his students to Wisconsin’s capital to support his students push for a financial literacy guarantee.
- Op-Ed: Joann Novak (Bloomington, IN) and Rachelle Jones (South Bend, IN) on how a personal finance course in Indiana high schools just makes sense.
We also wanted to take a moment and give a shout out to the NGPF Distinguished Educators who have passed six or more 10-hour Certification Courses. Spending sixty or more hours to gain knowledge in your craft demonstrates remarkable devotion to making a difference.
Again, thank you for the countless hours you spend preparing lessons, grading papers, and providing individualized attention to your students -- your passion and dedication motivates the NGPF team every day.
